Working with Drones

Working with Drones

Hands on experience is the best experience given to young minds. Mount Abu Public School organised a Workshop session on Working of Drones, on 4th August 2018, Saturday. The students were introduced to the different types of drones, its components, and basics, followed by its working. They were also taught about the software ‘Libre Pilot’, which is used in the programming of the drone. At the end of the session, the functioning of a drone was demonstrated, which kept the students amazed and delighted at the same time. The session actually helped the students to increase their knowledge and interest in drones.

Community Day at School

The school celebrated COMMUNITY DAY  under the flagship OF ATL wherein the school invited students from different schools across the city to visit the exhibition of innovative scientific models .The students attended  a workshop also which highlighted the concept of ARDUINO which   is an open-source platform used for building electronics project.

Atal Tinkering Lab

The School has been given an exclusive opportunity of setting up of Atal Tinkering Lab, an initiative of NITI AYOG, Government of India. The main aim of the setup is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mind-set, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, rapid calculations, measurements etc.

ATL is a work space where young minds give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode and learn / develop innovation skills. They get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

The school has a firm belief that ATL set up will surely lead towards creating a generation of stakeholders , well equipped  to meet the growing needs of the world in toto
